These procedures are safe, easy and painless. The following services I offer in the office. This will save you money and is much more convenient than going to the hospital, because many doctors don't do these in office. You can save up to $2000 getting these procedures done with me rather than at a hospital!
Hysteroscopy and Biopsy
A small scope with a camera attached is inserted into the uterus to diagnose and and sometimes treat abnormal bleeding. It only takes 4 minutes.
Essure Sterilization
A small scope is inserted into the uterus and a small coil is then inserted into the opening of the fallopian tubes in the uterus which blocks the tubes to prevent pregnancy. It takes 5-10 minutes.
Endometrial Ablation
This is done to stop heavy and prolonged periods. A coil is placed inside the uterus that cauterizes the endometrial lining and makes it scar so it will remove the tissue that causes heavy periods. It takes only 90 seconds to do and then the coil is removed, and there is nothing left inside the uterus. Approximately 55% of time this will result in no periods, another 35% of time periods will become very light.
Myosure
Myosure is an in office procedure done where a hysteroscope is inserted into the uterus, and a small device shaves away intrauterine poylps and fibroids. Takes 5-15 minutes depending on how many polyps or fibroids there are.
This is done when there is moderate or severe precancer or early cancer of the cervix that has not spread. A small coil removes a piece of the cervix that has the bad cells resulting in no more disease. This takes 30 seconds to do.
Polyp Removal
A small scope is inserted into the uterus and the polyp or fibroid is shaved away. This takes 5-10 minutes.
Weight Loss
I offer my patients weight loss therapy with products form Isagenix- a world wide company in business for over 15 years. I myself used the products and have lost weight! Pelvic Floor Therapy
I offer my patients Pelvic Floor Therapy to treat Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PFD). There are almost 50 million women who have this. It is usually caused by childbirth from having a vaginal delivery! Weight gain and aging can also cause this. Childbirth can damage and stretch the muscles of the pelvic floor! Symptoms of pelvic muscle damage are:
#1 loss of urine when you cough or sneeze called stress incontinence
#2 urine urgency- having to race to the bathroom when you have to urinate so you don't wet yourself called urge incontinence
#3 prolapse where the pelvic organs start to come down the vagina
#4 fecal or flatus incontinence where you have trouble controlling your passage of gas and or stool through the rectum
Some women have one or more of these conditions. This is painless physical therapy of the vagina. It does not hurt and will improve these symptoms so you do not have to use medicines that can have side effects or surgery!
Mental Health Screening
I offer my patients mental health screening which can identify whether you need help treating an alcohol dependence problem, have anxiety that is bad enough that needs treatment or depression. It is a 2 minute questionnaire that you fill out and then it gives a score of whether you have a problem or not so you can be referred to the proper provider for the treatment you may need.
VascoscanVasoscan is a non invasive 3 minute FDA CLEARED (which is the equivalent of FDA approved) scan where a painless clip goes on your finger and it is a screening test to see what shape your blood vessels and circulation are in. I go over your scan with you as soon as it is done. If you have a good scan it means that your cardiovascular circulation is in great shape and you don't need any treatment. If you have a bad scan you will be referred to your PCP or a cardiologist as you will need a cardiovascular work up as you could have blood vessel or circulatory disease and this could save you from a potential heart attack or stoke or other problems. Almost every insurance pays for this scan!
